This app is great for creating your back-up audio for whatever job you are writing. Easy to start and stop the recording, and transfer to your computer afterwards with ease via e-mail, wifi web server, or share with your iTunes. Imports into Express Scribe for scoping. I would recommend using this app with a cheap mic from London Drugs for about $25.
iSteno Brief Machine – $6.99 from App Store
I have found many useful briefs on this app. It is very straightforward
to use. Simply type in the word you want a brief for in English or steno and wait for one or more suggestions to appear!
WhatsApp Messenger – $0.99 from App Store
Text friends, family, and colleagues on this app without using your current texting plan or data plan, as long as there is a wifi connection you can use.
